Annet is a Ugandan lawyer who previously worked as Project Director of BMS' partner, the Ugandan Christian Lawyers' Fraternity and has a passion for empowering and inspiring women and girls. In 2012 she moved to Mozambique to work for the Mozambican Association of Christian Lawyers (AMAC) - a BMS partner involved in legal justice work. Damien hopes to increase awareness of the law, legal rights, and the character of justice in scripture within the local context of justice in Mozambique. He is interested in linking justice ministry with wider development goals such as the eradication of poverty. Although they joined BMS separately, God had other plans for them and Annet and Damien were married in April 2015. They have one child, Patience.
