Annie and Dan with their children, Charis, Isaac, Amaya and Thalia are serving again with BMS, having previously served in North Africa (2007-11) in a remote Saharan region with isolated believers. The family moved to Tirana, Albania, in August 2014. Dan is working with the Albanian Baptist Union, helping marginalised groups and those on the fringe of the church through a community centre which provides health, education, welfare and crisis services. Annie uses her skills as a physiotherapist in transformation development projects that engage people in situations of poverty. Between their times of service with BMS they have been part of Church from Scratch, an emerging church in the Baptist tradition where Dan has been a student minister. Their home church is Church from Scratch, Southend-on-Sea.
