Stamp donations

Since the late 1920s, the BMS Stamp Bureau has been raising money for BMS World Mission by receiving and selling used postage stamps and other collectibles. In 1928, this first appeared in the BMS accounts as a contribution of £60. Now, with your help, many thousands are raised each year.

We are no longer able to accept loose stamps or stamps cut from envelopes, although we will still gratefully accept:

  • Stamp collections
  • First days covers
  • Presentation packs
  • Mint stamps
  • Albums
  • Stamp hobby accessories
  • Other philatelic material

Items sent to the Stamp Bureau are sorted and priced by our expert volunteers, and then sold on to collectors and dealers. The income raised is passed on to BMS to transform lives around the world.

You can send donations to us at:
BMS Stamp Bureau,
6 Chapel Street,
Norton Canes,
Staffordshire,
WS11 9NT

Please do not send donations directly to Baptist House.

Please note that we are unable to track how much a donation has sold for because donations are usually sold in small lots over a period, and sometimes in with other lots, to achieve the best price.
