Both from Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne, Roger is a teacher and director of GDQ School, an international school for children from the missionary community and Nikki helps in the library. GDQ School currently has 90 children from 14 nationalities. As well as normal school activities, the school runs the Miracle Club, a weekly club for local children. Various teachers have been involved in training sessions to help local teachers and the school also offers support for home-schooling families. Roger and Nikki are both involved in the Way of Hope Baptist Church in Tirana
