Transforming lives on four continents

Pray for Albania (21 - 27 October)

Posted by bms_editor at 00:00 on 21st October 2012

Being in Albania today is probably like living in New Testament times. Church life is simple and fragile but God is assuredly at work. All but one of the Baptist churches is now being led by Albanians rather than by foreign mission workers.

Pray for:
•    BMS supported partner workers Genis and Blerta Myrteza. Genis is a pastor and leader of the Baptist Union of Albania.
•    BMS supported partner worker Elton Zere church planting on the edge of Tirana.
•    BMS supported partner workers Endri and Dyshi Tabaku, pastoring a Baptist church.
•    BMS supported partner workers Ylli and Albana Beqiraj new to the leadership of Vlora Baptist Church.
•    The work of the Albanian Bible Institute in Durres.
•    The BMS personnel at GDQ School in Tirana: Nikki and Roger Pearce, Jane Waites, Gary and Susan Anderson, Dave and Fiona Lea, and Jill Morrow.
•    The medical outreach project based at the church in Shkozë. Pray for the Christian nurses visiting patients.
