Katrina and Martin with daughters Ruth and Esther are located in Kathmandu, Nepal. Katrina is a doctor at Patan Hospital and Martin works with assessing the effectiveness of work in clusters for the UMN.

They were appointed in 1995 and first went to Nepal in 1997.
