There are some fundamental, structural and global causes behind much of the suffering that BMS World Mission works to alleviate.

This channel of the BMS website is about what you can do to affect change at that level.

Simplicity is a Christian tradition and a spiritual discipline with lifestyle implications. A way to change the world by changing yourself. Contentment without apathy. The 'simple life' without Paris Hilton.

Changing yourself and contributing to the work of mission and development agencies is not all you can do. Speak truth to power. Join these campaigns. Attend these events. Raise your voice. Change the world. Act.

Opinions are like embarrassing right-wing friends: everybody's got one. The world, however, would be a significantly better place if our opinions were informed with facts and wisdom. Find both of them here.
