Kevin and Gill are from Tywyn in mid-Wales where they lived for 23 years.

 

Kevin had his own forestry business and Gill was a practice nurse. They are both members of Tywyn Baptist Church, where Kevin was an elder and Gill was a member of the worship group, as well as being involved in house groups and youth work.

 

They have two grown-up children, Claire is married and is a doctor in Nottingham; Richard is also married and works as a teacher in Cardiff.

 

Having worked with BMS in the Democratic Republic of Congo (D R Congo), Gill and Kevin went to South Africa to work with the Baptist Convention there. They developed a skills centre and a mission centre at Thusong.

 

In 2010, they moved to Zimbabwe to support a number of different organisations, including Aids Care Education and Training and Family Impact, as well as the National Baptist Convention of Zimbabwe.

 

Gill is interested in reading, playing keyboard, music, and Kevin is interested in football, walking, running. They are both interested in the arts and Manchester United.
