Church and Youth Teams
Making it possible for your church to experience mission first-hand
We have now closed our Church Team applicantions for 2012. Please contact us if you would like notification when applications reopen for the 2013 Church Team programme, which we expect to be in May 2012. We still welcome churches to send Facilitated Church Teams in 2012.
Church Teams tend to go overseas for two to three weeks, usually during the holiday months. The teams can be of great support to the mission workers and partners overseas. Previous teams have served by leading youth programmes for the children of mission workers, or getting involved in ongoing work with street children. Each programme is host-driven with an identified need that Church Teams can help meet.
As part of the programme we will provide a packed day of relevant mission preparation for your team at our BMS International Mission Centre (IMC) in Birmingham. We will also arrange for someone to come to your church to debrief the team on your return.

If you are considering the possibility of your church sending a team in the future then please contact us (preferably by email) to ensure you receive regular details of developments in this programme. BMS Church teams are for those age 17+, we can occasionally send groups of people aged 16+. Some restrictions may apply.
