Micah is a retired software engineer and Chris is a retired social worker, also involved in child protection and parenting training. They went to Brazil and Equador in 2009 as BMS volunteers. Chris helped the PEPE-Network to look at their child protection processes and training, whilst Micah was involved in maintaining their website.
After a break in the UK they plan to return in September 2010 for a further three months of service. Christine will be strengthening the implementation of the PEPE Child Safeguarding, and Micah will be helping to design the website for the new Brazilian Lay Leaders' Training Initiative.
Their home church is Station Hill Baptist Church, Chippenham.
