Fiona and Les arrived in Bangladesh in 2006 and served at the Christian Hospital Chandraghona for 3 years. They have now relocated to Dinajpur where Les is developing a teacher training programme and Fiona works in nutrition and local church work.
Before joining BMS, they lived in Keighley, West Yorkshire where Fiona worked as a NHS dietitian and Les taught biology at a sixth form college in Huddersfield. Their home church is their village Methodist chapel, but they are also being supported by other Methodist and Anglican churches in the area who are trying to build relationships with Bangladeshis living in Keighley. They say, "We have been moved by the support and encouragement that we have received from family, friends, churches and link-up groups".
