Body and Soul - Sow in tears, reap with joy
Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. These words from Psalm 126 have real meaning for the Karen and Karenni refugees. Forced from their traditional homeland in Burma many of these people have crossed the border into Thailand in their thousands over the past 25 years.
Despite their bleak prospects, there is hope.
We will be looking at how you feed both body and soul in the context of a refugee camp. You will be amazed by how a concept called vertical gardening is helping to improve health and nutrition in the camps. You'll be encouraged by the Christian witness in the camps where people are full of hope.
