France Action Team filmed from day one

As soon as the France Action Team set off from Didcot to Rouen, they were accompanied by a BMS communications team who began filming them for episode four of L’Eglise – BMS' reality TV series. They were welcomed with a meal by BMS church planters, Reuben and Katie Martin, who later introduced them to the challenges of living and working in a community with many social needs.

The BMS film crew followed them as they walked around the estate and browsed the local market. However, it wasn’t long before they began sharing in an afternoon Bible study for women. Over the next six months, they expect to paint and decorate the church building as well as starting a 24/7 prayer room and a café. They also hope to be working with GospelKidz, a children’s outreach programme in partnership with another local church.

They also hope to regularly lead worship and improve their French language skills.
