BMS World Mission

Who does BMS need?

Needs and opportunities:  Future teams

We are planning to send two teams a year for two weeks to Bangladesh.
They work at Chandraghona Christian Hospital in Bangladesh. The hospital has been in existence since 1907 and serves a population of around 105,000 people, the vast majority of whom are tribal people groups and landless Bengali farmers.

When?  The dates of the next Medical Team to serve at Chandraghona are:

31 January - 14 February 2009

November 2009 (dates to be arranged)

Who could be used?

General surgeons, anaesthetists, orthopaedic surgeons, eye surgeons, plastic surgeons, obstetricians, gynaecologists, midwives, experienced nurses and other medical specialists

What could you do? Specialist medical work and training in the hospital

How much? Approx £1,100 per person

Medical Teams make a tangible and lasting difference to the lives of people in Bangladesh, so if you have the skills or know of anyone who does, please consider being part of a team and taking advantage of this invaluable opportunity to serve God in a practical way in 2009.
