Joan was appointed in 2002 and after language study in Portugal went to Angola in 2004 where she uses her nursing skills. Initially working in the capital Luanda, she has now relocated to Mbanza Kongo in the north of the country. Joan is working with the IEBA medical department leading seminars and supporting the rural medical clinics in the region.
Her home church is Portrack, Stockton-on-Tees.
