BMS World Mission

BMS staff member on the run

03/06/2008

On Sunday 8 June, BMS World Mission’s editor Andrew Dubock is taking part in the Two Castles Run – a ten-kilometre jaunt starting at Warwick Castle and finishing at Kenilworth Castle – to raise money for BMS.

Andrew said: “It’s a tough time for all charities in the UK and giving patterns seems to have changed in recent years.

“I reckon fundraising is a great way to get people really united behind a cause – plus there’s more to it than simply writing a cheque or typing your credit card details out.

“Doing something like this involves a wider range of people supporting a charity – lots of my family and friends are giving to BMS out of support for me too.

“In my role as editor at BMS, I've had the privilege of travelling to four different countries, most recently D R Congo.

“I’ve seen first-hand the difference BMS can make to people who are in desperate need of practical care – and the hope and fulfilment that I believe can only be found through knowing Jesus Christ.”
