Who can become a 24:7 Partner?

Anyone over the age of 18 who would like to support the work of BMS World Mission and become part of a community wanting to see Jesus made known throughout the world, and an end to the poverty and injustice that blights our world.

How much money do I have to donate?

We ask for a minimum of £2 per month, but you are free to prayerfully consider how much you would like to donate as a 24:7 Partner.

Do I have to get involved with anything else that 24:7 Partners or BMS invites me to?

No. We would love you to stay in touch with us and you'll be given the opportunity to attend various events that we hold, but ther's no commitments.

Can I stop being a 24:7 Partner at any time?

Yes, you can simply cancel your direct debit at any time.

What is different in being a 24:7 Partner to just being a member of a BMS Supporting Church?

An increasing amount of people want to have a deeper and more direct relationship with world mission than is sometimes possible through church engagement. 24:7 Partners is about making that level of engagement possible to those who want it.

What are the advantages of being a 24:7 Partner?

The opportunities to attend special conferences and events provide you with ways to learn even more and to make your voice heard. The 24:7 Partners channel on the website will regularly contain information of relevance to you. Being a 24:7 Partner will enhance that sense of personal engagement in a mission you believe in. You will also know that your personal giving makes possible new ministries we might otherwise have to say no to.

Does my church get credited with the money I pay for 24:7 Partnership?

No. The support sent from our churches is a measure of the ownership of our local churches for 'their' mission society. Without that we simply couldn't survive. The support from 24:7 partners is an indication of the additional depth of personal relationship that many of our supporters are asking for. We don't want to confuse the two, and to be frank, we need both for our work to flourish.

How will you protect my information?

We see the provisions of the data protection legislation as a minimum standard and seek to do better than is required by law. We will never share your personal information with third parties.

Why have you got 24:7 Partners when you have historically been supported by churches?

24:7 Partners is our response to an increasing demand for more personal engagement with world mission. Most of our financial support comes from churches and we see no change to that in the future. The income we receive from 24:7 Partners is a personal response from people who want to do something more. Taken together, we will be able to significantly increase our work in parts of the world where the gospel is least known and where the suffering is greatest.
